  CHROMATOGRAPHY To separate the mixture, a physical method is used, it is chromatography.A mobile phase in which a mixture is dissolved, is passed through  a stationary phase.During this, different components of the mixture travel through the stationary phase at different rates, depending on their affinity and solubility for the stationary phase, the components of the mixture are separated.
